| 1 | From Rimuldar, sail north to reach Kol. |

| 3 | Sell Orichalcum at the tool shop on the second floor of the southwestern building. ➥ Leave the town. Then, re-enter and talk to blacksmith at the tool shop again to find the Sword of Kings for sale. |
| 4 | Head south from the outdoor bath to obtain the Faerie Flute. |
Dragon Quest 3 HD-2D Remake Kol Map Guide: Obtainable Items and Locations
Be sure to get the Faerie Flute.
You will need the Faerie Flute for the next area (Tower of Rubiss) so be sure to grab it while you are in Kol.
The Fairy’s Flute is located to the south of the outdoor bath.
The Sword of Kings if the best weapon for the Hero.
The Sword of Kings is the strongest weapon for the Hero. You can get this sword by selling Orichalcum to the blacksmith in Kol. Afterwards, return to the blacksmith to find the weapon forged and up for sale.
Tower of Rubiss
Recommended Level: 40
| 1 | Sail northwest from Kol to reach Tower of Rubiss. |

| 2 | Upon entering the tower, head for the 3rd floor. You can view our Tower of Rubiss map guide to help you clear the dungeon. |
| 3 | Jump down from the spot in the northern part of the third floor. |
| 4 | Head for the top floor of the tower. |
| 5 | Use the Faerie Flute on the statue on the 5th floor. ➥ Get the Sacred Amulet. |
Dragon Quest 3 HD-2D Remake Tower of Rubiss Map Guide: Obtainable Items and Locations
A horde of Liquid Metal Slimes appear on the 5th floor.
If you need to farm levels, the 5th level of the Tower of Rubiss is home to Liquid Metal Slimes. Spend time farming them if you want to gain some EXP before proceeding further.
Be careful when moving along the rotating floors.
Special floors marked by diamonds can be found in Tower of Rubiss. Stepping on these causes the direction you input on the controller to change. Because of this, tread carefully past them.
